Brent Sergent, OTR-L
A graduate of West Virginia University with degrees in Exercise Physiology and Occupational Therapy, Brent has served patients in outpatient, hospital, skilled nursing, and home health settings for 19 year. Specialized areas include low vision for geriatric populations, home modifications, and adaptive equipment for independent self care. He is trained to perform driver fitness screenings to help make decisions about safety with driving and ergonomic assessments for office and work spaces. Brent is skilled at wholistic geriatric care and home healthcare, supporting the patient and their family with many challenges that come along with homebound status.
Nicole M. Sergent, MPT
A graduate of West Virginia University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, Nicole has been practicing in pediatrics for 20 years. Her experience includes outpatient therapy as well as over 16 years working with infants and toddlers through early intervention. Specialty areas of continuing education and practice include premature infants, cortical visual impairment, neurologic pediatric conditions, and torticollis.
One of Nicole’s many passions is the essential nature that traditional developmental play provides in keeping young children healthy and happy. She is the co-author of “1-2-3 Just Play With Me” and co-owner of Milestones and Miracles. She speaks locally and nationally on the need for play and other pediatric topics at conferences, on the More Than Child's Play podcast, and for Medbridge Education.
